hmm, I think it is only notebooks or pre-made "machines" with ivy bridge CPUs will be delayed.

In his first interview to discuss Intel’s business in China, Mr Maloney told the Financial Times that the start of sales of machines equipped with Ivy Bridge – the 22nm processor set to succeed Sandy Bridge in notebooks this year – had been pushed back from April. “I think maybe it’s June now,” he said.

Mr Maloney said the adjustment was not caused by a lack of demand but came because of the new manufacturing process needed to make the smaller chips.
An Intel spokesperson said the company’s plans to start shipping Ivy Bridge in the second quarter had not changed.

So looks like desktop models will be delayed from the 8th of April to the 29th and June the 3rd we'll be seeing the mobile Ivy cpu's. Not so bad I guess.

No, it looks like early April for desktop models but still a guess.

That article says soft launch on April 29, with possible physical launch after that date. Totally bummed about that, this computer is on borrowed time... it needs to be stripped down and a few things need fixing bad (mainly my front audio connectors, as they're going incredibly flaky on me). Come on Intel, even if you release just one processor early, so I can build start of April, I'll be a happy panda. biggrin.gif
