RAGE Vsync issues

Thread Starter
I turn on the vsync and when I go out, then go back into settings it is still disabled. Ive tried restarting the game and it is still disabled, and I have tried messing/adjusting other settings to see if they are somehow correlated with the vsync. Anyone having this same issue, anyone know what to do about it? Thanks

have you tried going into your nvidia control panel and forcing vsync?

if it is enabled there, it should be enabled all the time.

I forced it in nvidia cp, but its still not letting me do it in game. I have noticed a big difference, as the tears during gameplay have mostly stopped. Still the issue regarding it not switching in the first place kind of concerns me... thanks

...I spoke too soon. The tears haven't really changed all that much

Have you tried to use D3Doverrider to force vsync?

Worked on my end.

I havent but Ive been told forcing vsync is forcing vsync regardless where it is done at. Im not sure it would make a difference.

Use Nvidia Inspector and enable Force Vsync.

/Solved

EDIT:
i realise i may sound cocky but i play Rage on my 480 and do this myself and it solves the issue...
