/Solved

EDIT:
i realise i may sound cocky but i play Rage on my 480 and do this myself and it solves the issue...

Doesn't work for me using a GTX 460M. Very strange issue, sometimes V-sync will stay on for a while and sometimes wont go on at all.

I solved it by setting Vsync in the Nvidia driver settings to global.

Now i don't have tearing at all! i only have random blue textures LOL

Bad game is bad

Discovered that V-sync wont go on when anti-aliasing is set to 2X but will go on when set to 4X.

Thread Starter
If I force Vsync from Nvidia cp, shouldnt it override what the Rage setting says regarding Vsync? Or does it not work that way?
