AMD Overclock? {Update}

post #1 of 4
Thread Starter
Ok so a while back I asked if i could over clock with my specs. I got some help and they said no.

I now have new stuff in my PC and NOWW Im wondering if I could overlock now, Maybe just get up Half or a whole GHz ( .5 GHz or a whole 1GHz) And is there an easy way to do it so I dont have to worry about messing up my CPU lol.

All are my specs are in my Siggy.

Pretty sure that motherboard is a 3+1 power phase VRM with no heatsink.

Your sig says "CPU cooling: After market, heatsink w/ 120mm Fan"

What exactly do you have?

That motherboard uses a low quality 2+1 phase VRM system (read up on the About VRMs & MOSFETs link in my sig if you don't know what I'm talking about). It has a max 95W TDP. It is not suitable for overclocking at all.

Ouch, 2+1, even worse than I thought.
