Which Case?

post #1 of 24
Thread Starter
Which case should I get for these parts?

Power Supply = CORSAIR Professional Series HX850
CPU = i5 2500k
Motherboard = ASUS P8Z68-V PRO
RAM - CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB)
Graphics/video card = MSI GTX 580 Lightning
Hard drive = SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB
optical drive = ASUS 24X DVD Burner
SSD = Crucial M4 64 GB
CPU Cooler= CORSAIR H80

I was going to go with the CM 690 II Advanced Nvidia edition, but now my eyes have opened and I have realized that there are more cases out there...not to say I won't go with the CM 690 II, just saying I'm open for recommendations atm

(I care about looks, but not that much, I do care about airflow alot as I'll be overclocking my GPU and CPU. Also, cable management is always a welcome bonus )

HAF X is an awesome case to get.It has great air flow and its cable management is second to none.Definately worth a look at.
Coolermaster 922 is a great mid tower case

I agree with Xizel. Arc midi gets my vote for sure. If I was ever to downsize it would be that case.

Heres a review from a trusted reviewer:

so much bang for the buck

I don't really like the look of that case, and it looks particularly small...I sense airflow issues. Also I planned on eventually going SLI

Edit: I've done research and the fractal actually looks really decent. Although I'm not a huge fan of the exterior design, I've started to consider the case

That's the list off of the top of my head of ones with good airflow. There are more though. I just can't remember them at this moment.

You're welcome. I'd add pictures of them, but that'd get spammy real quick.
