I can game on anything. MX Blues, buckling springs, it doesn't matter.

I actually bought my board without trying mechanical switches long-term (only once in a blue moon on my uncle's IBM model M, the stiffest and loudest board i've felt and heard, and a friend who got a Razer Blackwidow with browns) and so far i've been pleased wit my blues. They aren't as noisy tho, but yea, all switches do give out noise if you do not eliminate the bottoming clack.
I thought browns were supposed to be in between blacks and blues.

lol about the blues music

Blues and browns use the same spring. They just use a different stem which makes them feel completely different.

as Dustin1 stated before it varies from people to people, u have to try various switches to find what's best for u i think..

i've been using Steelseries 6GV2 for a while now (black) i did enjoy the typing feeling with it, but its not that good for gaming IMO, since its too heavy for me.

then i tried leopold (red) switch, definitely lighter than blacks, but for me its too light...

now im using filco ninja brown switch for both gaming and typing needs and its so far the best switch for me
IMO blue switches are not that bad for gaming also, but if u dont like clicky sounds just go for browns.

just ordered my filco MULTICAM blue off the market

my brother has a simplified white alps keyboard, which I think is similar to cherry blues, 'cept not as smooth. had no trouble playing fps on that switch; in fact, I liked how every keypress I made really made me feel like I was pressing the key. it was like, "HEY GUY YOU JUST PRESSED WD then R!!!"
