Good CPU?

Thread Starter
Currently my CPU has went through an hour of prime95 with temps topping at 55 during stress, but quickly dropped.

3.9ghz @ 1.375 voltage, 19.5 multiplier

2600 NB @ 1.25 CPU/NB voltage

I'm still getting the hang of overclocking, but does this sound pretty good?

Apologize if the title is a bit misleading, didn't realize until I re-read it.

Still going steady with the testing, no errors!

Sweet, I'm quite excited to finally have what seems to be a stable clock.

Wondering if some new better case fans and some Artic silver would help drop temps a little, even if 1-2c, well, this is Overclock.net

Double check your TIM application. I'm running 1.4375v on the same cooler and I get the same temps as you.

Try taking your top fan, move it to the front top slot, and set it as intake to feed your HSF with a little more cooler outside air. This gave me a 2C drop using a 90mm top fan (although you may get different results). Also, see what you can do about your ambient if it's warm in your room.
