Ack, get some toxics or wait for the refresh. You're already half way there.

Aside from that note, get two more 6950s and run with that.
*buzz* Wrong.

Niether 'stomp' each other. I've seen many reviews where they run on par with each other and where one wins it's pretty marginal lead, vice versa. Even if you feel the 6950 is better it's minimal.

I installed my 4890 that I had laying around and I am wondering should I grab another set of 6950's OR should I just run the 4890 till the new AMD cards. I am not sure when the new cards are going to be released. What do you guys think on a timeline for the new 7000 series cards?

Right now I dont mind playing at lower settings on the 4890 until then I just dont want to blow cash on 6905's when new stuff is right around the corner.
Sorry to hear of your troubles. Not sure what was going on, there are a lot of 560Ti owners that don't have any issues. However bad driver problems are enough to drive a person over to the other side anytime regardless of which side it is. For me it was in reverse...but I digress.

Al - I'd wait it out. Now your pretty close to new cards within 4 months at most. It will feel like an eternity but once the new gen cards come out you'll be happier you waited. If you make your move now back to 6950's you'll feel you should have waited once the 7000 'southern islands' cards are released.

On the plus side you can now continue to run the "Sapphire Club" thread as OP and feel relevant again. I'd still stick with Sapphire if I was you as well, but I don't think I have to convince you of that.
