1200 watt psu over kill, if you do sli get a 750-850 watt, non sli get a 550-650 watt.
As for the case look into the cm 690II and the fractal design arch or r3 and the corsair 400r/500r
8gb ram is good, for gaming, photo editing and video editing get 16.
Everything else looks good atm.

ight, i like corsair and seasonic personally. Try to get something modular too.

PSU --> Overkill, get 850W for possible SLI in the future.
CPU --> Get i5 2500K instead. Only things that set them apart are larger L3 cache and HT.
3D --> Plan to go with 3D? Forgot Nvidia 3D Vision Kit?

Since you put in the 3d monitor could I suggest this one as a possible alternative: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009300
I own it and its great and it comes with wireless 3d glasses and the emitter is built in to the monitor. Just a thought.

looks good but if he is just gaming and wants to use 100$ elsewhere then drop the 2600k and get a 2500k. you wont see a difference between the two by gaming. its a great overclocker too.

EDIT: yea idk why that monitor is even on there. waste of money IMO
