Show them the name on the card and they will subconsciously believe the Asus is far superior in it's sound.

Well I couldn't directly A/B test them since I had to change the card in the PC each time - I liked the Titanium HD equally as much as the STX for music.

For gaming, CMSS-3D is better to me than Dolby Headphone, and positional audio seemed more accurate on the Titanium HD.

Update: I have had the card for three weeks now and it is still running great. Everything I said about it still stands. if anything I even love it more!
