AS5 is a really good one I've been using on mine but keep in mind if you do get it you have to give it break in time. wink.gif

I see you have a XSPC RASA RS360. May I ask where you bought it and for how much? I can't find it on eBay or on Amazon.

Shipping to Australia costs $73 ohno-smiley.gif
Found a different online store in Australia for the same price anyway.

What should I change in the bios?

to begin with, you can lower vcore and qpi/dram voltage, set your bclk frequency, set your multi, turn off power saving features in cpu configuration section, turn on/off turbo (i disabled it for a more stable overclock), turn ht on/off, i leave it off for most of the days, only turn it back on when i do cfd simulation.

for just stock, i'm using...
vcore: 1.05v
qpi/dram: 1.225v
dram bus (memory): 1.59v

the as5 is still good with it's price tag, it's just the curing time is a bit annoying, you have to wait a couple of days before the paste optimises for performance...if you're fine with that, then the as5 is still a very good choice.

NH-D14 is also very good but that thing is HUGE in size.

yeah, the top end air coolers are huge, and that is why i went from thermaltake frio to h80, but with hardly any performance gain...

the rasa rs360 is great, but not all cases can accommodate the triple cooler, i think even your haf x needs some modding to put that rad in smile.gif i think for just cpu cooling, a rasa rx240 would do you just fine

Nope no modding necessary although it does render the drive bay unusable unless its only half a bay long. biggrin.gif

oh, so there are mounting options for a 360 rad at the top of the haf x? i didn't know that, i thought it was only for a 240 rad ... redface.gif
