OK I will do that. I notice your CPU is at 3.8 GHz. What are your setting at?

I left ibt on while having dinner. I came back to my computer and it had restarted. Turns out it went into a blue screen. Can't find the information like the "0x101" anywhere. I will change my settings to match yours. Maybe my CPU will become stable after that.

don't use my dram voltage, rest you can. but i'm pretty certain you will have to tweak the voltages more, be patient though.

my ram is rated at 2000mhz at 1.65v with 8-8-8-24, right now i am running them at 1664mhz with 8-8-8-24, so i shaved off that 0.05v. but since your ram is rated at 1600mhz and you are running over that speed, you will need the full 1.65v for sure!

basically when the pc restarts, you should have this little 'flag' icon at the bottom right of your screen, something like an 'action centre'. go into that and hopefully there you should be able to find what was the reason the pc shut down unexpectedly as well as the blue screen code...

I have pretty much an identical set up man (good choice by the way )

I've overclocked to 3.84GHz. I just raised the BLK to 160 because my of my ram frequency, and put the multiplier to 24, but I left all the underclocking features (turbo boost etc) so I underclock on idle at 1.8 GHz with an average idle temp of around 40 Celsius. My max loading temp so far has been about 56 Celsius.

I had to reapply my thermal paste on my DH14 and it really improved my temperatures. Basically just make sure you've got a decent cooler, a decent TIM and a stable overclock going on.

I could easily get to 4GHz and I wouldn't have a problem with temperatures or stability, but I'd rather just leave my RAM at it's stock frequency and get a longer life out of my PC.

Another thing is that the UD3R has a beautiful "Clear CMOS" button on the back, so you can mess about all you like and if you fail to POST then just hit the button and your problems will just disappear.

OK I had to increase the voltages a few times over your settings and put DRAM back to 1.66. I ran ibt 5 times and no errors. I will test the system more later. It's just good to know the CPU is OK for now. Temperatures are still 35C/65C.

I was thinking about getting a RS360, not the RX360. Is there much performance difference?

Cool OK.

If I get a second fan for my 212+ for a push/pull configuration, would that help my temperatures a lot?
