Which version of Sony Vegas?

Thread Starter
I'm looking to pick up a version of Sony Vegas that will do what I need. All I really do is basically record gameplay/mumble and commentary, nothing else really. I've used windows movie maker in the past but want to switch to vegas but I'm not too sure on which version to get. Any suggestions and reasons why would help and be appreciated. Thanks.

8-10, they are pretty much all the same. 8 is set up a little differently than 9 and 10 though.
