I think so, I just know I'll like it because of Square Enix: Eidos. I haven't noticed a single bad port from them and they do manage to bring great optimizations on all platforms. Not to mention the games, the games are good too.

Agreed. After Deus Ex:HR I have high hopes for this dev team.

I ask b/c it looks so much like Batman AA and that engine is so old that graphics cannot be pretty anymore by today's standards. System 5 years old will be able to run it on high settings... which isn't a bad thing I guess, but most ppl on this forum will ask for more...

I actually liked how much the Unreal Engine pushed out in games like Deus Ex Human Revolution/Batman Arkham Asylum. My only issue with the engine is that it likes to line characters and objects in a weird style (Most games using the Unreal Engine have borderlines around models, etc.)

If that's true, then that's great.

But so far, nothing I have seen about this game leads me to believe that. Every trailer and screenshot has been full of explosions and guns and close-quarters-combat moves that just don't have a place in a series that has so far been focussed on a suit-wearing, aesthetically-thin-to-the-point-of-gauntness genetically engineered assassin.

The only thing IOI have done in the last five years has been action games - Mini Ninjas, Kane & Lynch games...

Edit: This thread, or rather the 16 minute video linked in it, gives me some hope. Not watched all of it yet, though. Another game dependent on a cover system...

edit 2: Um. Suddenly 47 can see through walls? You can find a reason (augmentation) in Deus Ex, but Hitman? Really?

Deus Ex HR graphics look so average to me, I was disappointed playing it. Didn't know they used UE3 too...

17 minutes of bliss. My pants are wet after watching this. No shame on my face either.
