XBOX360 & PC Gaming 120hz Monitor - The decision!

I've been surfing these forums for a little while now and ready lots of opinions on lots of 'gaming' montiors and '120hz' monitors, basically im finding it tough to make a decision and wanted to give a round up and ask for your opinions. It might help other people who are in a similar spot:

Summary:

I use my screen for PC gaming and hook up my XBOX so I can switch between as my gf likes to watch TV. I enjoy 120hz in general because its awesome, diablo3 is coming out in the new year and I might venture into BF3 as well.

What I need/want:
  • TRUE 120hz PC gaming (2D)
  • HDMI Support for XBOX
  • 23/24" Screen (27" I believe to be too big for gaming)
  • $470-$650 (£300-£400)
  • Dont care about 3D

Choices:

Alienware OptX AW2310 Review £379.29 OR $449.99
Stand, USB, Matte
Backlight Bleed, poor default colour & cost.

Sammy S23A950D £394.90 OR $514.79
Generally amazing
Cost, Gloss Screen, Stand & Design

ViewSonic V3D245 Review 1 2 £467.22 OR $420
Not true 120hz

Acer GD235HZ Reviews £381.07 OR $473.95

Acer VG236HE Review £214.98 OR $347.36

I'm sure I've missed a few but would be good to hear your opinions, I will endeavour to keep the post updated with overall opinion consensus

VG236HE and H is the same monitor but HE has no 3d-kit included in the box.

Go for the Sammy or HE.

Go for the Samsung. Best color of all the 120hz panels available.

I have the 27" and it's not too big for gaming.

I have the Asus VG236. Really nice monitor with Dual link DVI, Component and HDMI input. You'll have to output the sound from the xbox a different way from the HDMi as there are no speakers/audio output on the monitor but I'm sure you'll figure it out. Save you a bit of money too.

the cost is almost twice as much, is it twice as good? lol.

EDIT: Also... the 23" and the 27" sammys in the uk are both 400 quid... weird.
