Keep in mind that 2600K isn't any faster in games than 2500K.

So this is the newest excuse in the reasoning behind questioning all the benchmarks even AFTER they show us multiple pictures of the tins, processor, packaging and heatsink?

I hope that Bulldozer is able to compete and that all those benchmarks are fake. Quite honestly I don't see how AMD would sit there and come out with a crappy CPU. The phenoms II's are nice. Now tell me why they would release a whole new architecture with 8 cores and it comes out to not be good at all. First off, The price point is good. On top of that, as long as they show a decent increase in power over previous Phenom II's, Who cares about it beating Intel? Of course all the AMD fanboys will want to see that but honestly this is a war that shall never be won. I am loyal to AMD and don't jump ship. I think that is what it is all about. Plus, Intel fanboys have always been known to spread rumors.

I am AMD! I am the underdog!

And throw years of work down the drain? I doubt they can afford not to release it.
