Anyone wonder why this was all started by a no-name account? Like I said before, UNLESS the benchmark actually shows the system settings inside the benchmark, you have no way of knowing what conditions these tests are run under. They could be run at 2 GHz for all we know. From my memory, all tests like wprime that show the actually speeds BD scored fairly decent, around 2500K range. Everything else put BD way below current Phenom performance.

For all we know a no-name Company released this. Not the first time knock-offs have looked identical to the real product. Of course there is the possibility of this being the real product, in which case my Athlon will be happily in use until I see what happens next year.

You obviously missed the live streaming benches done by one of the moderators here:

Do you know how much it costs to setup a manufacturing process to make a clone CPU? Let alone one that is comparible with a PhenomII performance-wise? Oh and CPU-Z just "happens" to read it properly as an AMD 8-Core FX-8120?

We're not talking about a cloned iPod here guys.

Wow. Just wow.

It also can be faked trough modded programs (im computer programmer).

You can mod the program to show any processor and pic you want and let them test another processor instead of the real one...

My estimation would be that Bulldozer gets stuck in quicksand, before even reaching Sandy Bridge. Then again, it will be here in a few days, so no point speculating now, but to wait for real legitimate reviews and benchmarks, not previews.

Srtriker please just stop. They downloaded the CPUZ BD press kit directly from the web site.

All benchmarking programs were copied over to the computer from Bass's (one of the mod's here) PC or d/l from the internet...
