Power spec computers have you guys ever heard of them?

I am thinking about buying one as it may be cheaper then actually building one

http://www.microcenter.com/search/se...x=0&submit.y=0

comes with i2500k psu case and windows.

This is a work computer NOT GAMING! so i know the mobos may be a little weak but i am sure plenty powerful to run a few programs

In which case you're overspending on PC's... You should be aiming at a dual core or the previous gen quads... If it's just "Office work" then go with a dual core i3 or even the older Intel Core 2 Duo's with either windows XP or windows 7

What kind of "work?"

Is there a reason why you don't want to build it yourself?

Because if he has to build 5 or 6 it'll be a hassle, also with work computers you want to get the 3 year warranty on all hardware.

it would be a hassle and as far as buying windows each time it will get expensive. I want a little horse power behind them so it can pretty much handle whatever it takes and have some long life shelf.

TBH mate, i'd personally just stick with HP, they have good business support and the warranties are pretty reasonable.

But with HP, you get the great service when it's buisness support. Yes, you pay a bit for the name, but most of their kit comes with good quality components.

I'm currently ordering these for work:

http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/op...d=optiplex-990

About $600 with an OS (I have a MS enterprise agreement, so I can save a bit there) and 3 year NBD onsite support, and can handle everything I've thrown at it so far.

That'll be ideal,

Incidently, have you considered LCD PC's? where the guts of the rig are in the screen? It's a great space saver and they take up less power.
