I don't wanna believe the latest "leaks" though sometimes its hard not to get swayed. I don't think we have a performance king but I do think it will compete to ~10% give or take that of a 2500K. I'm still praying some sort of miracle "couldn't release till launch day" optimizations or something but it seems bleak... Oh well just a few more days and all is cleared.

Can't wait.
Going from what that guy was saying in the video, this story and a few other pictures the leaked reviews, while on retail silicon, definitely aren't on what will be the main BD AGESA code.

It's like doing benchmarks in the Windows 8 dev preview when Windows 8 is about to release and saying they're real Windows 8 benchmarks.

See the above response, I'm going to believe that while many recent leaks are real, they aren't reliable for what will be retail performance for most of us.

Quoted from the article under the FPU section:
"Consumers probably won’t notice this as they don’t tend to have optimized and sustained FP workloads."
A lot of the leaked benchmarks are actually FP based, hence why this along with other facts make my believe there's unreleased BIOS code out there that we'll only get access to on Wednesday.

Unless its the AMD stream, wait for release as there is almost definitely buggy code somewhere.

If it's the AMD stream, why?

It just doesn't make sense to have 2 threads a module, and wouldn't that simply make things more complicated for the front end?
Just about everything I do at least would benefit from 8 cores.

Same here, if BD is a flop I'll go Thuban and maybe try to save up for either IB-E (If there is one) or maybe even wait for Haswells x89? based stuff, depending on what AMD is doing then.
