Verizon Prepaid vs Contract ?

Soo looking at plans for my Iphone 4...
I notice in the smartphone Prepaid monthly would roughly cost me $95
it offers me 400 minutes " I hate talking on the phone prefer text" unlimited texting and unlimited data.
Now looking at the contract still cost me the same with everything minus unlimited 2gb's per month.
My question is why do the offer unlimited data to pre paid customers but not to the contract customers? Cause I'm already going pre paid due to the unlimited data.

The offering is new and I think it is to entice those who do not have the required credit to go with their contracted plan over a pay as you go plan that does not normally include things like text and data.

It also enrages the current customers. At least for me it does...AT&T is doing the same thing. and I already pay $100 a month for a 2 phone family plan. In order for me to get a data plan for the iPhone it would be an additional $30 /month.

Go with the no contract plan.

Because it just makes no sense to be contracted and pay more right?

Seriously AT&T and Verizon What the heck is up with this?

Why would someone pay $30 a month for Nunlimited (2gb) data. when its free?

Because they're stuck.

So I'm safely assuming that with my Iphone 4 I'm allowed to do pre paid every month I would just have to pay one time fee for activation?

The iPhone 4 is not available for the pre-paid market. Trust me. Only select smartphones apply.

Yes but also when you are required to put a data plan on a upgrade you should... The guy at walmart did not do that I will see what happens when I try with the Iphone cause I'm just 18 turning 19 in January I wanna pay cash for the bill since I don't have bank account right now.. Do they allow that?
