i have disabled my speedstep and turbo and c1

and if i push the multi further it downclocks!!!!

with a multi of 35 it goes down to 1.9ghz!!!!

It sounds like thermal throttling, what CPU cooler do you have and how much voltage are you pushing through?

WHOA!!!!

1.4 is MILES too high you're hardly overclocking it. Have you read ANY guides on how to overclock?

Could be thermal. Also if the Overclock does not take it probably is down clocking so the PC will boot. There is going to be a limit of how high you can take the multi.
Try a combination of BCLK and multi for best results.

Dude, you need to drop your voltage down to about 1.28, set your BCLK to around 100 and set your multi to 38. This is a dirty way of getting 3.8Ghz quite easily

For further instruction, read this http://www.overclock.net/intel-cpus/...920-930-a.html

Go read the response I posted in this thread, the response with my BIOS settings. You may find some of the information useful. Your Sabertooth BIOS should be almost exact to my R3E BIOS.

My BIOS settings are for information only, it will give you an idea of what you need to set yours to. For starters you can not use my dram timing settings, you will need to change them to the settings for your ram.
