Taco Bell for World Hunger

Thread Starter
Just stopped at Taco Bell today to get something to eat. They are doing World Hunger donations and will ask you for a dollar. So if you happened to eat at Taco Bell or want to eat some where go to Taco Bell and give up that $1.00 While I was waiting in line for my food I was listening to the lady at the register asking other people. I was surprised by the amount of people who said no. If you can afford to go to Taco Bell surely you can afford that extra buck! Thanks all!

I will say, around here, if you are going to Taco Bell, it is because you can't afford something better.

I do agree though, if you can afford to go out to eat, you can give up some spare change if nothing else.

Surely the opposite?

Besides, people don't like being asked to give money. I've collected for charity before and you get much more money if you don't ask. People don't like being made to feel guilty.

Good cause though, no Taco Bell over here though

Yes and No, If you really can't afford to donate a dollar then buying groceries seems to be more of a priority instead of eating out. If you can go to Taco Bell surely one has enough to sacrifice a whole dollar. I understand where you are coming from though.

But you may not always know if they are donating to charities such as World Hunger and that is why they are asking their customer. There are millions of starving children in America and around the world. You would let a technicality of how someone asked you or not? That is crazy. There are times where I can see this apply though. For example, during Christmas the Salvation Army is ringing their bells. I do give, but not at every bell ringer in town. I know that I already did my part.
