First Water Cooling build!

Hey everyone!

I finished my first water cooling build this weekend! It's a simple single loop with a massive radiator.

I was fed up with bad temps with no overclocking on my video card, a 5870. I've wanted to do liquid for a couple months, so when's a better time?

Previously, I had a H50 cpu cooler and the stock Graphics cooler. Ballpark idle temps were 110F for the CPU and 170F for the GPU! Strangely high for the gpu, right? I had good airflow, and I had tried re-applying thermal paste, cleaning the heatsink, the works! It's a mystery).

Anyways, my idle temps with the new stuff is around 75F for the CPU (woohoo! this is with 70F ambient!) and 99F for the GPU! Awesome! Now I can actually play with some overclocking goodness - I've got a very small OC from my old cooling, in my sig right now. With the old settings on this new systm, max temps (running prime95 and furmark at once) add about 15F to 20F onto the idle temps after a few hours. So I'll see how high I can get soon!

Also - I know I am bad at cable management . I'll be getting a modular power supply soon to clean up that rat nest at the top, and hopefully hide the 6 pin power cables.

Let me know what you think!

Edit: I'll get better pictures after work! Those were the only three I had available at the moment.

Looks good. Hard to hide stuff with a clear case, but you did a good job.
