Yea I've thought about it. All the horror stories with leaks and what not turn me off it a bit. Not too keen on all the maintenance I hear about either. I really should give it a shot sometime though to get a taste of it.

Yeah watercooling would definitively be nice especially if the gpus are going to sound like jet engines

Updated build a little bit. I'm now planning 2x 6970 2gb in CF (and overclocking) for now. I will be using http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835186048 as my cooling on these.

Any opinions on how important the sound card is? I was looking forward to trying a physical sound card, as I have always used onboard sound. However it seems with 2x 6970 with the cooling I want, to OC safely, there would be a heating issue with a sound card squished in there.

After much thought, I'm going to take out the sound card from this build. This will allow me to use the XTREME Plus II for my video cards. The fps gain from overclocking the videos seems a better benefit than the sound quality increase, as I will only be gaming with this and not editing music or anything.
