So this is my build I'll be getting in around 6 months. How would you rate it? My max budget is 1200, so I can't upgrade anything, but I can change parts to equal prices.

I will also try to stay with new stuff as they come along.

Nice build but if it is in 6-12 months why not go Ivy Bridge or SB-E?

Don't buy anything yet, wait till you have all your money and then buy, i guess it will be cheaper or better options. Good Luck.

I could care less about AMD, but BD will be out by then, and seeing how you have an AMD rig you may opt for BD

I don't have an AMD rig, my sig rig is a rig I was GOING to buy, but I couldn't and am going to buy this one instead.

I'm not going to buy it now.

And as I said, as time comes along, I will upgrade parts to current parts.

Making a build for 6-12 months from now is pointless. The price of just about every part will have changed by then, and new tech will be out.

Just post when you are ready to buy and people will be able to help you out with things and prices available when it is relevant.

Ok I upgraded a bit:

Case: NZXT Phantom (Black)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811146068

GPU: MSI Lightning Xtreme GTX 580 3028MB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127589

PSU: Rosewill Xtreme Series 850W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817182072

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145345

Mobo: GIGABYTE Z68
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128502

CPU: Intel i5-2500K
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128502

CPU Cooler: Corsair A70
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835181011

SSD: Corsair Force 3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820233194

HDD: Samsung Spintpoint F3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822152185

And I found out I'll be getting this around Black Friday.

Other than that, how's the new update? I'm going to be getting a 1080p monitor from my friend, hence the 580 3GB.

Also, the SSD is making the price go high, my friend told me the Mobo has SRT technology which speeds up the HDD to near SSD speeds with the SSD in the list.

Is it worth it? My price goes up to 1400, and without the SSD I could go down to around 1.3K

No "technology" can boost a hdd speeds to an ssd's speeds, especially that one. An SSD is worth it. No doubt. You won't regret getting one.
