I wasn't asking for an opinion on the processor choice, thanks.

as far as sound card look for a deal on the X-Fi titanium HD http://www.overclock.net/online-deal...tanium-hd.html alot of people got deals on them with the bestbuy liquidation. Everything else looks solid to me! Maybe a Crucial M4 SSD. I've heard nothing but good things about them.
I like that motherboard, little pricey but it will do. Thank you for being the only one who has actually contributed to this thread thus far.

I might run with the P8P67 PRO since the inside will be a blue/black theme mostly, no lights or anything, though.

I just upgraded to a P8P67 PRO v3.1 and I'm loving it so far, would definitely look good with a blue/black theme. I'm not sure how good that case is for air cooling but you will definitely need good airflow with 2 580's. The Corsaid 500r looks pretty good and has room for a h100 also.

For SSD's I've seen many posts boasting the Crucial M4's. I don't know much about SSD's but you can search for the M4's here and see what kind of reviews they get.

On a side note, "the customer is always right." If they want a 2600k, you give them a 2600k. It might be different if the customer wanted an i5 and you tried to talk them in to a 2600k or if they asked for your opinion on what they needed.

>Well that settles the motherboard issue.

>I prefer the 650Ds clean look and window, I think it will have more of an impact on the customer. It's nice to always be seeing the beautiful guts of a REAL computer exposed in all their glory every time you jump on your PC. I own a 650D and it is great for air cooling, Corsair took the 700/800Ds style and fixed it's goofy-huge size, and airflow problems. The 200mm fan in the front that works as intake is easy enough for anyone to clean with it's built in dust filter, pick 3 real quiet 120mms have them all exhaust and you've got great, quiet airflow.
