Card Problem?

Thread Starter
Every once in a while my computer randomly freezes(2 seconds), then my monitor turns off and stays like that for 2 seconds and then it goes back to normal (No rebooting or anything like that, as if it never happened). This happened once and I didn't mind it, I thought maybe it was my power from the socket was low or something, but it happened again. Any ideas?

It sounds like your drivers are crashing. Which ones are you currently using? I would do a clean install of the latest beta drivers, 285.38 iirc (280.xx WHQL seems to cause crashes for several people).

Also, what are you doing on your comp when you get the blank screen?

Make sure that the PCI-E connectors are plugged correctly and try different drivers to see if it helps.

Yeah, if it's doing that on the desktop, it's probably a driver issue. 280.26 did this somewhat often, but I'm not sure whether it's been fixed in 285. Definitely try some older drivers though, like 275.33 or even 266.58. Your actual card itself is probably fine.
