1035t OC

Thread Starter
After struggling for a few days I got a stable OC to 3.77 GHz on GA-970A-UD3 with 16GB PC-12800 (1600 MHz) DRAM. Anything higher is proving to be darn impossible ... specially with the locked multi of 13. Wasn't it used to be somewhere like 15 when someone did the record 5 GHz using Asrock board?

One funny thing. Each time I tried to reduce the HT Link speed, it would break Prime95.

Thought it might be useful to someone. The Prime95 mixed test (tests lots of memory?) was canceled after 14 hours :-

That is strange, as there is nothing gained by overclocking the HT Link - it's merely a pipeline. It will also degrade performance and increase instability (due to signal degrading) beyond 2350Mhz - and there's no guarantee that yours will go that far without degrading, which is why we say keep it at 2000Mhz +/- 100Mhz.

XD because of HT link he stays on 3.77ghz xD there are no gain in performance (or +/-5%) it's not enough...
