ASUS 1155 Board? Which One?

Thread Starter
I was wondering what is the best 1155 board I could get by ASUS for overclocking, but keeping in mind that I won't be going sli or crossfire. Sticking to a single card. Will be using an SSD though!!!
Thanks.

I would pick ASUS P8P67 in that case.

If you want to use that SSD for SSD caching you'll need a board from the Z68 lineup.

asrock is 130$ with PCIE 3.0 and that motherboard looks so awesome too

IMO the p8p67 pro is a very reasonably priced board that also has a quick little intel SATA III port for your SSD needs!

OP wants to use a ssd so z68 is the best way to go.
You don't need Z68 to use an SSD, just for SSD caching. I still don't see what benefits you would get from SSD caching as opposed to just using your SSD drive for OS and games/programs.

all Asus boards are a bit (not a whole lot) below competing products.

the maximus IV is an exception.

so if you really want Asus and boss overclocking skills, MIVE it is.

Asus has the best 1155 lineup alongside asrock. Then comes MSI and way way below is Gigabyte.
Why are people not answering the question. He wants Asus. SSD cache so Z68.

So P8Z68-V. Or maximus.

Done.
