Windows install!!

Thread Starter 
I currently have Windows 7 installed on my HDD. I also have games in there too. Im going to buy an SSD, and I was wondering how would I move Windows to the SSD.

Please help!

Clone software will copy entire drive contents. Might be better to do a fresh install though. Nice and clean.

there is a back up - restore option in windows 7 but cause of the ssd u might be best a clean install.

I would always start fresh and do a nice clean install. Just have your current HDD set to slave and you should still be able to run most installed games/programs.

Do a fresh install on the SSD without the HDD plugged in. Then follow the SSD optimization FAQ so you can set your user folders to the HDD so you have less writes on your SSD and less data filling it up.

Do I just unplug my hdd and install windows to the SSD, then delete everything from the HDD after windows is installed to that SSD?
