Same shell, Spawn is coated. Different encoder wheel.. Different sensor, clip, lens, electrical layout, and controller.

Besides these, doesn't the Spawn have a 12 bit data path through its U.S.B. versus the Xornet's supposed 16 bit data path through its U.S.B.?

Can the top buttons on the Xornet be reassigned in any way? With Autohotkey maybe?

The Spawn seems like a good mouse, but I haven't found a definitive answer on this in my searching. I like using 800dpi 500hz, and I've heard that this had jitter issues on the Spawn in the past, has it been fixed?

If you're using the latest firmware (v61) the Spawn has no jitter at 800 CPI / 500 Hz. The only issue is the high LOD, but that is inherent to the sensor used.

Yes they have been fixed. There are new drivers available in this thread from a guy at coolmaster. I use version 61 i believe.

Although, to get the best translation of your hand movement to crosshair/cursor, use the 1800(1600 with new drivers although it displays 1800) and 125hz. This is the best setting for the mouse.
