Also loaded the onboard audio drivers and sound is working good. Right now im really happy with it biggrin.gif
Edit: I did have 1 issue that i forgot about, my cooler master xornet mouse doesnt work at all in bios. I move the mouse but the pointer just says in 1 spot but since im so use to going through bios w/ a keyboard it really doesnt matter. I probably wouldnt use it anyway

Yeah same here man, I have CM Storm Spawn and it only goes up and down but I have no problems with it since I'm use to changing BIOS settings with a keyboard anyway.

BIOS: P1.30

Hey guys/gals. just bought an Asrock z68 Pro3 Gen3 and paired it with an i5-2320. trying to figure out how to make it stop using integrated graphics for some things. ie 3dmark 11. I have disabled it via device manager but it still seems to switch over. other than that its an awesome board. oh and please excuse my poor cable management. rolleyessmileyanim.gif

I definitely plan on tweaking the settings to see how far I can get. Just haven't had the time yet too busy gaming at the moment . I'm very impressed with this board so far though. Temps are excellent and stay around 70 during prime 95. No freezes or BSOD's. I'm sure I can get it higher than 4.4. Technically I haven't even tried the 4.6 profile yet I might give it a go and see what happens.

I've had my Extreme3 gen3 for about a week now and I'm having missed feelings for it. While it is a great board, I've had nothing but issues with it whether it being a fresh windows install or an 4.5 overclock. With the install, I had an issue with installing the video driver before installing SP1 (UEFI issue) or the motherboard working with a stable overclock for a few days and then going into full throttle mode for no reason. I'm in the process of doing another windows install with a new try at overclocking to see if I can clear some things up. Oh, and the multiple "windows recovery" after an issue is really a major pain in the a$$. I select "restore" and it still goes through the recovery process about 6 times before loading in windows. This happened all before I even started overclocking FYI.

The pins on the inside of the male pins aren't secure and they move around easily, so even if you place the female side into it you have to make sure there is no tension on the wires or the pins might not be straight. Very unsafe if there is power going to them because if they touch you'll short something out. I learned that the hard way (my own fault) by connecting the side fans when putting the panel back on while it was still powered up. It ended up shorting out one of the fan control on top. Otherwise an awesome case!

Yeah i was careful when putting the side panel on. I was worried I'd pinch the cable to the two fans in the panel. I was so very close to buying the black one but changed my mind at the last minute. I've never owned a white case so I said what the hell lol. You can't really go wrong with any of the colors. The black one is a beautiful case. I seen the white one on newegg with red trim and I had to have it:D The only thing though is my asrock extreme 3 gen 3 doesn't have a usb 3 header for the usb 3 port on the case as far as I know. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

No I dont think it has a internal 20 pin plug for usb3.0 from what I remember if thats what you need, but it has two usb 3.0 slots on the back IO panl if your case has the long wire to reach it!

Need some help from you guys...just checked device manager, and noticed that there are 3 things under "other devices" that dont seem to have drivers and I cant figure out what they are..

I installed the asrock INF driver, and it got rid of one of them, but there are still 2 left, and they are "PCI SIMPLE COMMUNICATIONS CONTROLLER" and "VIDEO CONTROLLER"

Anyone know what these are so I can install the drivers for them? Thanks!
