I take that back. Mine wouldn't post today after disabling the C states. Might bump my offset up .01 to see if it makes a difference. It should't have to being that my OC settings worked fine with 1.30. Everything works fine after a clean boot. If that doesn't fix it I'll just chalk it up to an unstable UEFI which is probably why Asrock pulled it from their site. It's all good, was worth a shot. Wanted to see if it fixed the fan control.

Pretty obvious "Fine Print"/release notes ... see * at bottom

Supports Intel's 3rd Generation CPU.
To support Intel's 3rd Generation (Ivy Bridge) CPU, corresponding BIOS and drivers update are required.

* After you finish updating this BIOS, please reboot your system. Please only flash newer versions of BIOS in the future.

@Trumpet .... looks like they will require the Intel Management Engine ... Quote:
"Click here to download required Intel ME" ....
Or are they assuming you originally loaded it and will have to do a NEW clean install?

Very impressive thumb.gif would you mind posting the rest of your timings smile.gif ? ie. these are my Z77 XMP 1.2 timings which are way different than my Z68 XMP timings ... I only use these as a starting point ... tWR-12 / tRFC-208 / tRRD-5 / tWTR-6 / tRTP-6 / tFAW-24 / tCWL-7

Is this your Samsung Ram? I've heard/read it OC's very well! ... a point you are certainly proving thumb.gif

I messed around with the beta 2.04 bios today. After about 3 hours, I can say its the most unstable piece of crap I've run so far. I went back to the beta 2.03.

Yeah thats my ram biggrin.gif

I havent really had time to test out the ram since I've been busy modding my phone rolleyes.gif but these are just the regular timings with the rest on auto. I'll spend more time tweaking the rest of the settings later on. As for the ram themselves they have been great for me. My bro went from CL8 vengeance to these and have had good results, I went from vengeance lps to these. If you don't want super high settings like 9-10-10-28@2133, you can go for a more tighter setting such as CAS 7@1600.

440

On the other hand if you want to go "green" like what these ram were intended for in the first place you can run at 1.25v, 1.35v etc... biggrin.gif

E3G3

Only thing I've noticed at least for my part is that default VTT Voltage is lower. Havent had any instability so far.

now that we can set the turbo boost multi for core level load, how exactly do we stress test the OC?
for example, if it set:
1-core: 45
2-core: 44
3-core: 44
4-core: 44
just for starters, how exactly do i check if 1-core multi is stable?
i've been running with offset volts (+0.005) for 4.4GHz and when i load one core up using LinX (1 thread) it does reach 4.5GHz BUT the Vcore stops at around 1.25V. for 4.4GHz on all cores, it rises up to 1.32V.
