I assume you "disabled"... Advanced --> CPU Thermal Throttling ... IMO I don't think that was the problem (unless you're overheating), I think your CPU was starved for higher more consistant voltage? redface.gif

You are correct they did suggest llc. Only thing is i had already had to google it and get the stress testing rolling before they replied as i was out of time. Either way the help was very appreciated. Also cpu thermal throttling was the problem as i had already tried level 1 llc once before and still had the multiplier throttling issue. I dont believe a voltage issue is going to makie my multiplier move around. Im just going to get a blue screen as i did other times.

Finally, you are right i could have described what i actually did better, but i was absolutely starved for time. I wasnt just sitting around at home. So, stoping to turn the pc off and re read exactly what it said in the bios was just not an option. I hope i didnt ruin your life.

I ran 3 680s for a week before I lost my job and I had no problems with the stock Asrock bios. Good Luck smile.gif

Been two weeks now and no help forthcoming yet...

That's very interesting... Could be because you're on the 1.30 bios, unfortunately for me I updated to 2.x and once there you can't go back...

As you may know, I've been using the 2.20 BIOS on my Z68 Fatal1ty and 2600K for the past 2 months and have been fine with my 4.6GHz overclock, with voltage offset of +0.050v and LLC5....until this week.
Now when I run Intel Burn Test (which I haven't in over a month) it fails after 2 runs.
If I go into the BIOS and lower down to a 4.4 overclock, it will pass IBT, but at 4.5 or higher it will fail, regardless of the voltage (tried +0.050 to +0.095) and LLC 5-1. Not sure if my 2600K is giving out from only 1 year of use at 4.6, or it could be this 2.20 BIOS...and should try to get back to the 1.30 BIOS that I was using before.

So it looks like once 2.20 is being used, it doesn't even show the 1.30 BIOS that is on my USB Stick, so no way to reflash. Now looks like I'll have to use 4.4 overclock, or see if Asrock can send me out a BIOS chip with 1.30. As I'm not sure if my issue with the 4.6 overclock is related to the 2.20 BIOS or my 2600K.

Any of you guys running 2133mhz memory with a high cpu OC?

I seem to be needing 1.22v VTT to stop the 0x124 BSODS.

anyone think this is abnormally high?
