Yea, but now it's pretty simple to do with these new UEFI/GUI motherboards. Just follow the steps on the website where it says "How to Update" . It has an icon of a red cross which will open the instructions.

I put the BIOS on a USB flash drive, the Format has to be FAT32, and it didn't take long at all to update. Also, for some reason when I downloaded the BIOS file from the USA link it turned out to be corrupt or something, The updater would see it on the flash drive, but wouldn't run it. Tried the China linked file and it worked fine. And no it wasn't in Chinese, just a a different link. Out of curiosity I used a new USB 3.0 flash drive and it recognized and ran the file fine as well.

Hopefully, that will solve your Crossfire problem. But, you never know...

Edit: Might as well check and see if you have the latest Drivers for the motherboard in the Drivers and Utilities Section.

glad that seem to have done the trick.

side note:
I ended up keeping my RMA Z68 Pro3-M and not selling it.
I sold the rest of my AMD hardware instead and upgraded my main rig with a 3570K I got locally at Fry's for $195US out the door.
the 2500K that was in it (main rig) is now in the Pro3-M, clocked it to 4.0GHz and gave it to my son.
still not liking the 4+1 VRM but I upgraded the cooling, it was only running @ 4.0GHz the last time when it blew..
we will see what happens.
