ASRock Z68 Discussion/Owners Club - Page 83

I'm having a problem with a new computer I just built. It won't clear the POST! The motherboard is a AS Rock Extreme 3 Gen 3, and the Dr. Debug is coming up with a error code of B2. I can't even get into the BIOS, its just coming up with a blank screen. There is no after market video card, I'm just using the integrated video card that is with the mobo. If you have any solutions I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey 4.7 is nice! Good Night LED is an option in the bios turn off the LED light on your board as soon as you boot up. Turns off Dr. Debug and the reset button and CMOS button. I keep mine on for the most part. smile.gif

Do you have a spare set of RAM that fits to try? How about if you try to boot with one board at a time?

I know in the past with my Foxconn Destroyer I was able to set the onboard graphics to handle physX through the Nvidia panel, it helped with med/low VGA's BUT actually hindered higher end cards like my present 570. This new HD3000 is pretty beastly in it's own right, but regarding PhysX and working with the 570 ... no results yet (time constraints for me) ... windows "auto select" sets PhysX to the 570gtx where on the Destroyer board it would pick the Nvidia 8500 onboard ... will have to experiment with forcing it to the CPU and weather the HD 3000 kicks in or not?
Unless some one wants to chime in who has alraedy done this drill ....

I haven't messed with the Intel graphics yet, only been at this board for a couple of days. I'll check it out shortly and see how it works for me. I'm not a big gamer.
