Frozenq T-Line Res problem- I think? TJ11 Build

Hi all, got myself a frozenq t-line res, very nice indeed.

I have this issue that when I have the power on, the water level in the res sits at just half way. When I power down the system the water will quickly rise to the very top of the res. It's getting to me cause the when its on an the res is half full, the water falling in is creating bubbles. It's not allowing me to bleed my system properly.

Any ideas anyone??

Also Is 3.2lpm adequate flow rate? My TJ11 consists of Koolance 370 block, 2 x NX 580 blocks, Aqua flow sensor, Hw Gtx 560 & 120, mcp35x;

The water in a res does increase a bit on shutting off, mainly due to it settling down after the turbulence and suction created while running the pump. But is it like a whole lot of difference or just a few mm?

Remove the res from the case, hold or position it as high as possible while you bleed the system.

u got pics of your system? how much tubing you got? the more tubing and blocks, the more the drop... i had a res that would drop around 100mm, but it was cooling 2 systems ... 100mm for a single system is prity unheard of... also, what size and type is your res? (if its a tri-spiral 100mm is possible because there is a lot of volume taken up)... i would try what was said above... hold the res as high above your system as possible and bleed it... i do this even if im not having a drop in volume just to be safe... let me know what you find out
