Need help choosing new HSF

As the title states is what I need to do. This is going on a 555 w/ 3 cores stable @ or around 4 to 4.5ghz(or more).

I would go with the ZEROtherm. You get what you pay for. Im not a AMd user but 4.5ghz on air for amd doesnt sound likely to me. Ive seen some amd cpu's running 4ghz on air and they get hot. Remember amd has a lower thermal range, 64*C is the highest safe temp for the cores, were intel's is 74*c.

good point. I'm looking at 57c @ 4.4 running OCCT. Right now I've got my rig in the AZ room so it's basically outside and it's getting very cool out at night around 20c(68F) so we'll see. Zerotherm looks very promising. thanks

Yes. They're all about the size of my Tranquillo and that had room to spare.

Scroll down to the AMD results; a Frio (even with just one fan) will get you a 5C lower Delta T vs. the Tranquillo.
