Thanks. I just started looking at Sager, and that's certainly looking like a good choice. 60fps on high beats my desktop handily, so I could sell it and get eSATA docks for my hdds? I'm amazed the 555m does so well. Granted my desktop is very CPU bottlenecked in bf3, but i saw some benchmarks showing dual 6970s required for solid 60fps

The GT 555m is barely behind my 460m and it churns out fantastic FPS in games. biggrin.gif Not to mention it can easily overclock for better performance. biggrin.gif

Both the 555m and the GTX 560m would be good choices, though when I was choosing between the two, I saw no reason to pay $900ish for the 555m when I could have the 560m system for $100-150 more. It's up to you.

BF3 beta wasn't as ultra intense as everyone made it out to be; but then, I have all nvidia GPUs these days.

Agreed. If I'm gonna be trying to get desktop-level performance I'm not gonna skimp on the GPU. I think my perception of the beta's performance is negatively skewed by the CPU/memory bottleneck on my desktop.

Unrelatedish, worth $95 for the extended color gamut options on the Sagers? The M14X is out of the running as a desktop replacement due to no eSATA.
