yes im not sure or not about getting the i5 as my i3 is suprisingly fast for what it is. i had a p2 965 and to be honnest i cant tell any big difference between the 2 would defo recomend for budget build and not wanting to overclock. i think i will just get the hd6870 and then look to upgrade when i start getting poor performance from gaming

good call. how about the psu? the same brand, maybe a 750W if it is on sale.

that i3 SB is a keeper.

CX400 can handle i5-2500k and HD 6870, both overclocked. But the i3-2100 is fine--no need replacing that unless you suddenly find a need for the extra cores.
