My first water cooling. Questions.

Hello OCN !

As the title say, i'm thinking about switching to water cooling for the first time.

The reasons i do that is to be able to OC my CPU for about 4-4.3ghz
Another reason is because it looks so good, quiet and hell of a fun to build !

After reading a lot here and watching reviews on the net i decided to go with the XSPC Rasa 750 RS360 kit
As those kits are user friendly for beginners like myself.
I will also get 6x Gentle Typhoons at 1450rpm for push\\pull.
And 10 feet tube

I have a few questions:
1. Do i need anything extra beside the kit ?
2. I also want to add one of my GTX560ti to the loop, will the XSPC pump will be able to do that?
3. Also, what gear i will need to get to be able to add the GPU card to the loop?
Will the RX360 rad be enough to cool both CPU and the (pretty hot - 86c) GPU?

One more thing, i live in Israel, and we do not have any kind of store here that deal with water cooling.
So i need to make sure i order everything i need to build the w\\c.
Because ordering from the web is an extra 60-75$ per order + custom (16% of total price include shipping)

Thanks for any help you guys can offer me !

Distilled water, killCoil and/or biocide. AND TUBE CUTTERS.

Yeh people even have sli on that pump, my d5 at the min is running at a lower speed than the 750 pump.

Thats fine, an rx360 is more than enough for cpu + gpu, (you will need 2 extra barbs but thats it.)

Thanks for the quick respond xD

1. Distilled water i will buy near home.
2. What does the killCoil and/or biocide are for ?
3. Can you recommend a GPU block that goes with my cards? (prefer from http://www.performance-pcs.com so i won't pay double for shipping)

Kill coil/Biocide are for bacteria/algae that may grow on your loop. It's to prevent them from doing that.

Your GPU is not a reference design(if i was correct) so the only choice would be getting a universal block + ramsinks
It's a computer.

Yeh looks as tho you can only get a core block that will be fine tho with some sinks as jvkua said.

Thats fine and I think above has posted the sinks.. maybe get these barbs as they are the same as the others in the kit. http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=30286

That's my final list:

(add about 80$ for shipment)

I will buy water and fans here at Israel.
I decided to order from frozencpu because the over price is cheaper.

That's is all i will need for a CPU and GPU loop, right?

And another thing, what maintenance a water cool system needs?
How to prevent leaks?
If there is a leak, anyway to spot is before it ruin the entire PC ?
What the manufacturer policy if such thing happens?

Thanks
