1155 for nas / media box?

Thread Starter
Low power draw, 4gb ram, whs2011, 3tb support with allowance for a goodish 8 port raid card.

Cheap, reliable but not needing to be fast / overclocked.

Anyone with experience in this field?

are you just looking for a processor in 1155?

if so, an i3-2100 would be perfectly fine for a NAS/media server.

Ah, I meant a good motherboard. I look at my local pc shop's 1155 motherboard range and there are a couple of thousand different types. Or 30 ish. Whichever.
