Thread Starter
My configuration:
Amd phenom ii x4 960t Black edition( I plan to oc it to 4ghz later)
Msi 6950 twin frozr III PE/OC (I plan to try to unlock it to a underpowered 6970. If that fails I'll oc it to around 900mhz)
Asus 990fx sabertooth motherboard
I am also installing 2 WD caviar black 7200 rpm hdd's in raid 0 mode

How many watts would I need?

650w would be ideal with room for a second if you wanted. You could probably go with something less if you really wanted.

hx650 is perfect. I used it to power an i7960 stock, GTX 580, a sound card and a Sabertooth mobo with 12Gb RAM.

Thx, u know i was going to buy a 850w psu before because the asus psu calculator estimated
750w- so I gave an 100w for oc'ing
No, the 650w PSU that i've mentioned already includes a 50% OC on your processor and a heavy OC on your GPU.
