At least, that's what I can make out from the translation!

EDIT: This is NOT the same system! From what I can gather, another guy went down and picked one up, and he has a 6950 patched to 6970 IF I am reading the translation correctly LoL wink.gif

Keep checking back to this first post, I am starting to post results NOW!

Trying to read through the translation is a little tough, not sure what they mean by the video card section, I'll try and find another post on it...EDIT: This new guy has a 6950 patched to 6970 apparently...

3DMARK SCORE NOW AVAILABLE FOR THIS SYSTEM ONLINE!!: http://3dmark.com/3dm11/1979782

EDIT 8:24AM PST - Okay someone asked him to run a custom HD test file in X264:

Run the please in their x264 Benchmark HD 4.0 (requires pre-installed AviSynth 2.5.8, the system does not contaminate smile.gif

Where's snake when we need him! biggrin.gif

OT: Hopefully they're using different boards with different bios, since that way we can tell if ANY of the new bios revisions from the big manufacturers have made any difference at all.

yet more worthless and skewed benchmarks after watching those guys do there run live i wouldnt trust anything that they put out
post #5 of 33
I hope this time they're running minimal background applications to perform these benchmarks.. maybe then we'll get a semi-accurate idea of where Bulldozer rates among other processors.

I'd highly doubt AMD is planning to trump Intel's top of the line processors, but is most likely targeting the i3 and i5 line-up. When Intel's R&D is substantially larger than AMD's, it's in AMD's best interest to keep costs low and gain some market share from potential i3 and i5 buyers.
We need to wait when NDA lifts and more review, because its impossible that a 8-core bulldozer does 26 GFlops when a my phenom II x4 @ 4.1ghz does 52GFlos, clearly there are some driver/bios/whatever issues.

More excuses huh? I watched that same feed. What was so deceptive about what they did?

Excuses?confused.gif

Last time the benchmarks were not run properly at all. I could really care less how bulldozer performs but if your going to put out benchmarks they need to be accurate and not run while you have half a dozen other thing going and live streaming the whole thing from the same computer your benching.

This is just one guy running it @ 4ghz. There should be no excuses with these.
why are there so many conflicting reviews. i mean this one is showing it doing decently well. others show it dominating Intel (which i doubt) and then others, still, show it being like the performance of the Phenom Is.
