Okay looks like he went to work (this is from earlier), and now so do I. I'll try to keep checking in every so often and post any further benches when he returns, so guys, PLEASE try to keep this thread OPEN lol wink.gif

Last time the benchmarks were not run properly at all. I could really care less how bulldozer performs but if your going to put out benchmarks they need to be accurate and not run while you have half a dozen other thing going and live streaming the whole thing from the same computer your benching.

If you watched the feed you saw that during times when he wasn't benching cpu usage hovered from 5-8%. It's not like the feed was sucking up 50% cpu usage

Well let me put all this to rest. My brother's, wife's, uncle's, former roommate knows a guy who saw a Bulldozer chip sitting on a bench in the box next to a picture of a 2600K. Both the BD chip and the pic of the SB were at stock speeds. They brought in the family dog and he ran a quick single thread of piss on each of them and they both performed about the same. Wet. So there you go, issue solved.

Coffee just came out my nose.

If Bulldozer is really not close to 2600k performance I'll be building an Intel rig in about 3-6 months. frown.gif
