12x 5.25 case suggestions?

Looking for a case specifically to put 4x front loading hotswap 4 in 3 drive cages in, for 16 front loading 3.5" hard drives, such as the Icy Dock MB454SPF-B

The Antec 1200 is tempting, but I owned a 900 in the past and the 2 biggest problems I had with it were that hard drives were noisy as hell in it (long screws going directly to the drives meant clicks being amplified by the case) and it had very little room behind the drive cages. Does the 1200 (V3?) still have these problems?

Others I was looking at include the Lian Li PC-A77FB but I'm not sure if it will take all of the cages, since the 3 top bays look slightly different, and the Xigmatek Elysium which looks pretty good, just huge.

Any other ideas, suggestions or recommendations?

Only problem is that it is gigantic and weighs a ton.

Do you have to have those hotswap bays? They get very pricy.

Have you considered a rackmount case instead? These sometimes have hotswap bays already.

Thanks, the PC-P80 looks OK if a bit expensive.

With the 777 and 1000 the only difference I could see seems to be the colour of the front fans, which seems a bit strange. The 2000 won't take 4 drive cages as far as I'm aware because it has the built in sideways hard drive bays at the bottom. I've never really been a huge fan (pun intended) of Xclio cases though.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm actually already using a rackmount case (a Chenbro RM23212) but thinking of moving away from it. I did have 4 servers in a rack but over time I've replaced the rest of them (e.g. replaced a MythTV server with some HDHomeRuns and moved its other services to other servers) leaving this 2U 12 bay in the rack all alone. When you start using racks everything gets really expensive anyway and in general unless you buy an entire system at once, things just don't seem to work well together. Parts are an absolute nightmare to find. PSU brackets don't quite fit, etc. Even so called universal rails can be a huge problem, to the point where I switched over to fixed shelves. The rack is also not in an ideal location because of the space it takes and rack mounted cases tend to be very loud because noise doesn't matter in a data center. The limited space in the case means riser cards are required, even small graphics cards can't be used at the same time as raid cards (so integrated graphics on the CPU is required in Core i) etc.

All of the problems with rack mounting are why I'm considering going back to basics with a tower case and some front loading bays, while the thing that's holding me back is all of my existing investment in the rack.
