Hello. So i just bought a new CPU ..

My old one was an AMD Athlon ii x2 240 2.8Ghz

Then, today i just bought a Phenom ii x4 955 .

The thing is when i had The Athlon one , the rank were 6.4.. and now with the Phenom that is a lot better then the old one.. well.. it ranked 3.7.. as u can see here..

Is this normal ?

No the score is not normal you should be getting roughly 7.2 in the score, try re running the assessment.

EDIT:
Make sure you have cpu intensive programs closed before you run the assessment.
Did you have something running while you ran the test? if you did you shouldn't, it lowers your score.

Edit: Fateful_Ikkou beat me too it.

Yes Cool n' Quiet is enabled you need to go into the bios and disable it. if you want your cpu running at 3.2ghz all the time.

That's definitely not a normal score. When idle modern CPU's tend to throttle to a lower speed, judging by that CPU-Z screenshot it looks like that's what your CPU is doing.
There should be a setting in your BIOS called "cool n quiet", try turning that off then re run the the windows experience index assessment.

My motherboard supports up to 95w..

And this cpu is a 125W...

Damn.. I guess there is no way to make it works fine..

Thanks
