Of course you didn't Sprint is using Clear for their "4G", you'd never ever see those speeds on a clear connection. Real LTE like Verizon has on the other hand....

Impossible to get those speeds on 3G, CDMA tops out around 3 down 3up, HSPA/GSM top out curretly around 14-21 down 7-10 up but that's theoretical at best, real world is about half that.

Speedtest was reporting 10+ down, I don't remember exactly but it was in the teens, I was impressed. But you're right on the up, it was more like 5.

LOL yeah if it wasn't rooted and tweaked, but I pull 14-16 hours out of my Thunderbolt no problem with the standard battery. And without shutting off all the goodies.

Speedtest had a huge issue with some phone's buffering data, making the result's way higher than they were supposed to be.

$800 with a contract? Try $199.

I constantly see around 25-30 meg down on my Bionic here in Nashville, TN. Rooted phone with some tweaks, battery is around 15-20 hours of normal use (web, texting, games, email, etc). Phone is hella fast as well, esp coming from a Blackberry Storm 2.

Def not getting a "woo" feeling looking at the iPhone 4S.. or any other iWhatever for that matter. They are decent products, but I like my customization and openness more than being tied down to one OS, Phone, Company, Market.
