I've heard good things about these units. $59.99 for an 80+ Silver 700w Modular PSU is pretty good I think.

got one of those. came with a loose screw inside. did not bother returning coz it was cheap. using it to power my tri-core. it heats up, too. rebate is a sham. don't tell me i didn't warn you.

it is made by compucase.

I think cougar's are more of a rebranded enermax.

I have had a chance to test the 1000w with the weird gold fan. Seems to work fine did not produce too much noise or heat, gold certification.

Add in an EMachines P4 era stock PSU and you'll have firewworks.

For the same price w/o rebates I purchased a Seasonic S12II 620W from Newegg in their shell shocker deal for $59.99 last week = much much better.

Yeah exactly. and you can expect to be able to push a seasonic 10% beyond the rated wattage while those things i would be worried about 30% LESS then rating lol.

4th of July is over, dont buy expensive fireworks.
