So Im playing a game and then BOOM, black screen no bsod or error messege and machine just freezes. i reboot, none of my games are playable... GRRRRRR *** anyone ever get these black screens? cards are not overclocked btw. drivers are the latest wqhl drivers. seems like though it has a problem switching from 2d to 3d mode. any help is appreciated.

edit: temps are 28 at idle. 34 while playing and 40 while at full load.
it cant be faulty cards because these are the 6th ones i bought... LITERALLY! ive tested them individually and they are good to go. i swapped out sli bridges as well.

6th ones.....
Your power supply most likely can't handle them.

Have you tried playing with only one card and two cards?

Better to be sure then to drop extra money when it isn't necessary..

EDIT: Nvm just saw you edited one post..

I would go for a Corsair power supply...maybe AX 1200 but it's pretty pricey...
